Think bucket bag but taken to a whole new level. The inspiration for this bag has come from a gourd which is a traditional "bottle". A gourd is typically a sizeable fleshy fruit with hard skin used to drink water, milk and blood. Gourds have a round belly with a narrow neck and top. Gourds can be found in many parts of Kenya; the Maasai, Marakwet, and Pokot, amongst other tribes in the Northern, Southern and Rift Valley regions.
These communities are pastoralists, and working with cowhide was essential to highlight this. The Tarkeet can fit the essentials; phone, touch-up makeup, lippies, sanitiser, card holder, pocket wipes and tissues. A shoulder strap is provided with the bag, miming the leather strap found on a gourd that pastoralists use when carrying.

There is a drawstring bag provided in the packaging. Do not wash this bag, only clean it with a lightly damp microfiber cloth. If the bag gets a stain, spot clean. This bag should not get into contact with water. When not in use, store this bag in a cool and dry place.
